This Privacy Policy explains how Teachers App (“the App”, “we”, “us”), operated by Intellectual Digital Solutions, collects, uses and protects information when an institute (school / coaching centre) and its staff use the App to manage classes, attendance, test marks, fees and parent communication.

1. Who controls the data

The institute that creates an account is the owner (data controller) of the student and parent information it enters. Intellectual Digital Solutions processes that information on the institute’s behalf to provide the App.

2. Information we collect

  • Account details — name, email, mobile number and password of the institute head and the staff (sub-users) they create.
  • Student & parent records — student name, roll number, contact/parent contact, email, attendance, test & exam marks, fee amounts and payment history, and any photo the institute uploads.
  • Usage & device data — basic log information needed to run and secure the service.

3. How we use the information

  • To provide the App’s features — classes, attendance, marks, fees and reports.
  • To send SMS / WhatsApp notifications (e.g. attendance, marks, fee reminders) to the contact numbers the institute provides.
  • To process subscription and wallet payments through our payment gateway.
  • To secure accounts and prevent misuse.

4. Sharing of information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the App:

  • SMS / messaging providers — to deliver the notifications you send.
  • Razorpay — to process payments securely. We do not store full card details.
  • When required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

5. Messaging consent (SMS / WhatsApp)

The institute is responsible for having the parents’ / students’ consent to be contacted, and for complying with applicable telecom (DLT) and messaging regulations.

6. Data security & retention

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data. Information is retained for as long as the institute’s account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. When an account is deleted, its associated data is removed.

7. Your rights

Institutes can view, correct or delete the records they manage within the App. To request access, correction or deletion of your information, contact us using the details below.

8. Children’s information

Student information is provided and controlled by the institute. We process it solely to provide the service to that institute.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
